| | | Wallpaperturk including Kitchen Style Wallpaper! | myLot Discussions| Do your trashbags leak all over the kitchen floor? | | One of my biggest pet peeves is a messy kitchen floor. Maybe because messy equals germy and I hate germs, because they cause so much illness. So, normally I try to keep the kitchen floor spotless. But one of the things that messes up a kitchen floor faster than anything else is a leaky trash bag. Some bags don't leak. But, mine do for some reason. I've tried using two bags at once, (one bag inside the other) but that doesn't work either. It can get really messy especially when I'm throwing away tea bags and such. Eventually the tea leaches out and spills everywhere. Then I found a little trick that keeps leaky bags from depositing their ugly contents all over the kitchen floor. Simply place a few sheets of newspaper in the bottom of each bag. This works best if you're using a Kitchen Style trash can that has a flat bottom. For extra leak insurance, you can add a folded up newspaper on top of the loose sheets of paper. Ordinarily this stops most leaks. The newspaper absorbs the liquid. And my trash stays where it should...in the bag.Do you have any helpful hints or tips for keeping the kitchen clean and organized? Please feel free to... | |
